Malaria Awareness - The SUN Competition - Terms and Conditions

  1. Global Vision International Ltd (“GVI”) will provide a 13 night volunteer based holiday with desert elephants in Namibia for one person departing between 8 September and 28 November 2008 and one return economy air ticket, London Gatwick to Windhoek, for use in conjunction with the holiday.   2. Flight seats and the holiday are subject to availability.
  3. The winner must by 18 June 2008 inform GVI in writing of his/her 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferred choice of departure date from the GVI list of departure dates between 8 September and 28 November 2008 [which can be viewed at www.gvi.co.uk]
  4. GVI’s Terms and Conditions apply and the winner must agree to GVI’s Booking Terms and Conditions and Medical Details form as a condition of accepting the holiday and flights.
  5. The prize does not include insurance or domestic transfers (to and from the airport in the UK)
  6. This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over. The employees of GlaxoSmithKline UK Limited (“GSK”), their immediate families, agents, affiliated or subsidiary companies and any one connected with the competition are excluded from entry.
  7. Only one competition entry per person.
  8. All entries must be received before or on the closing date of the competition, 18 May 2008.
  9. No responsibility can be accepted for incomplete, lost, damaged or delayed entries.
  10. The Sponsor does not accept liability for technical failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network conditions which may limit or prohibit ability to participate in the competition.
  11. The winning entry will be drawn from all of the correct, valid entries by the Sun Online judges on 23 May 2008.
  12. The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The prize is non transferable and no cash or alternative will be offered. If winner is unable to travel during the specified dates, the Sun Online will select a new winner.
  14. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the judges’ decision by Sun Online.
  15. The winner will be announced following the competition draw on www.malariahotspots.co.uk
  16. The names and location of the winner will be available on request six weeks after the closing date by contacting Lisa Bronstein at Beattie Communications / 0207 053 6000
  17. The Sponsor may require valid identification consistent with the entrant’s details to be provided prior to a prize being awarded.
  18. If the winner cannot be contacted by the details provided in their entry, the prize will be forfeit and an alternative winner will be drawn.
  19. Winners agree to allow free use of their name, photograph and general location for publicity relating to the competition.
  20. No purchase necessary for entry.
